Family Photo Day started in 2006 as an annual fundraiser for my son’s preschool. Based on its popular response each year, we decided to make our Family Photo Day services available to the general public, as well as to schools, social groups, and not-for-profit organizations seeking to raise money by hosting similar events.
When you sign up for a Family Photo Day event, you are scheduled for a session with a professional photography team (that’s me and my assistant) at a predetermined location. When you arrive, we take group and individual photos of your entire family—Mom, Dad and siblings. In just a few days, you will be able to view your photos online and purchase prints or digital files that you will treasure for a lifetime—perfect for framing, holiday greeting cards, Facebook & Flickr pages and a variety of other uses. We offer retouching services at an additional fee.

About Nicolas
Nicolas Sage studied photography at Santa Monica College, UCLA Extension, and completed a six-month master photography program instructed by world-renowned photographer and educator Bobbi Lane. He has had over ten years experience in the field. In 2006, he was asked by the Shambhala Mountain Center to photograph the Dalai Lama at his speaking engagement @ the Shambhala Mountain Center in Colorado. A versatile artist, he has also worked with families, children, students, schools, models, fitness experts, musicians and celebrities. Nicolas also enjoys wedding photography and photographing sporting events. His work has appeared on various book covers.
When not taking pictures, Nicolas is skateboarding with his son, shopping with his daughter, cycling and mountain biking with friends, spending time with family, sipping chai tea lattes at his favorite LA cafes, listening to music and attending concerts and music festivals. Also, Nicolas has been known to create a special music playlist so his clients can listen to their favorite music during their sessions in order to enhance the experience.
Besides being technically proficient and able to visualize the best image in advance, Nicolas is also open to, and inspired by, the spontaneous magic that happens when he's taking pictures--the alchemy of loving families, a comfortable environment, perfect lighting and an experienced, creative eye.
